Bay Street

Also found in: Dictionary/thesaurus, Wikipedia 0.03 sec.
Bay Street
A street in Toronto that forms the center of its financial district. Several major banks and law firms, among other things, are based on Bay Street, though, interestingly, the Toronto Stock Exchange is not. Because of its influence on the wider financial world, Bay Street is used often as a byword for the financial industry and its lobbyists in Canada. See also: Wall Street, The City.
