Basic Health Insurance Policy

A health insurance policy that provides only minimal coverage. For example, it may cover preventative visits to a physician and catastrophic events. Basic health insurance policies have high deductibles. As a result, they have low premiums. They tend to appeal to young adults and exceptionally healthy persons.
