The Glass Menagerie was staged, Copland's Appalachian Spring was played, a film called The Lost Weekend--not a bad title for what we'd gone through--won an Academy Award. The problem could be bad timing, a bad title like ``Shawshank Redemption'' or a promotional misunderstanding; it could be any one of a number of elusive things. |
