Block Order Exposure System
Also called BLOX. A computerized system on the SEAQ allowing institutional investors and London Stock Exchange members' clients to trade large blocks of securities. BLOX reduces the time and expense of working through a broker-dealer. See also: SOES, Small order automatic execution facility.
