A non-profit organization that monitors electronic media such as the Internet. It researches the audiences, popularity and other information on non-traditional media in North America. Advertisers provide funding for the Bureau because they use this information when making business decisions. It was incorporated in 1995 as the Audit Bureau of Marketing Services. It is associated with the Audit Bureau of Circulations.
