Attached Mail

Mail that is sent along with a periodical such as a newspaper or magazine and is charged a lower postage rate because of it. For example, a bill sent with a newspaper is attached mail and the sender pays less than he/she would otherwise. In order to qualify as attached mail, the mail must be secondary to the main periodical.
