Assets Under Management

Assets Under Management
The money or other assets for which an investment advisory firm makes investment decisions for a client. Assets under management may refer to the assets for a particular client, or to the total amount managed for all clients. For example, a company may say that it has more than $2 billion under management. Asset management often opens more potential investment vehicles to the client.
