Ancillary Revenue Revenue that a company derives from anything other than its main business. To give a very basic example, a liquor store may receive ancillary revenue from the sale of cigarette lighters and magazines at the cash register. Most companies have ancillary revenue of one kind or another; at times it may become the main revenue source. For example, a pool hall may find itself making more from selling beer than from renting pool tables. Want to thank TFD for its existence?
