Agency of Record

In marketing, an advertising agency that a large corporation uses to coordinate all its advertising. That is, when a company uses several different advertising agencies, the agency of record deals directly with broadcasters and other media in order to make the advertising process more efficient. In general, the agency of record receives a fee from the other advertising agencies for this service.
