Afternoon Drive
In radio broadcasting, the period of time between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. The afternoon drive occurs when people are going home from work and very often listening to the radio. Because of the higher volume of radio listeners during the afternoon drive, advertising rates are higher during this time period. The other peak time in radio listening is the morning drive.
