Advice of Nonacceptance

A statement issued by a bank notifying another bank of the negative result of a letter of credit or other demand for payment. That is, the advice of nonacceptance informs the second bank that the bill of ladingwas not honored or paid as demanded. It is also called advice of nonpayment. It is a type of advice of fate.
