Advance Start
A subscription, especially to a periodical, that begins with an issue after the one currently being sold. For example, if one buys a 12-month subscription to a newspaper beginning 1 April and it is currently 15 March, then one has purchased an advance start subscription. It is also called a preferred start or a delayed start.
