A publicly-traded company that designs and sells multimedia software for computers, especially for Internet use. It is particularly well-known for Adobe Acrobat (which is used for PDF documents), as well as Photoshop and video editing programs. It was established in 1982 and is based in San Jose, California. It is traded on NASDAQ.
