Adjustment on Conversion

Money that must be paid to or by a bondholder when a convertible bond is changed into another type of security. The bondholder may have to pay the adjustment, for example, if there is a difference in the par value of the two securities favorable to the issuer. Alternately, the bondholder may receive all coupons previously due on the convertible bond.
