Additional Living Expense Insurance

    0.01 sec.
Additional Living Expense Insurance
An insurance policy (or a section of an insurance policy) that provides coverage for extra expenses that occur if the policyholder must temporarily leave his/her residence. For example, if one's home suffers from fire damage and one must temporarily live in a hotel, additional living expense insurance may pay for the cost of having to eat out three times a day. Additional living expense insurance may stand on its own or it may be part of a homeowner's insurance or similar plan.
