Acquired Advantage

The ability for an economic actor to produce a good or service with fewer resources using knowledge or skills that are acquired over time. For example, if Town A has more electrical engineers or a better engineering school than Town B, Town A may have an acquired advantage in the production of electrical circuits, even if all other resources are the same.
