Account Inquiry

    0.01 sec.
Account Inquiry
A request by an outside party to access the records of an account. For example, a credit agency may make an account inquiry to a credit card company to determine whether an account holder pays his/her bills on time and in full. Account inquiries are important in the risk analysis of individuals; however, too many account inquiries can lower one's FICO score.
