(redirected from Accidental Death Clause)

Also found in: Legal 0.01 sec.
Accidental Death Benefit
The benefit paid on accidental death and dismemberment insurance. In general, the accidental death benefit is paid if the policyholder dies as the result of a non-work related accident. A policy may also pay an accidental death benefit if the policyholder loses a limb or sustains some other, major injury. This benefit is over and above what the beneficiary would receive from a normal life insurance policy.
