Automated teller machine (ATM) Computer-controlled terminal located on the premises of financial institutions or elsewhere, though which customers may make deposits, withdrawals or other transactions as they would through a bank teller. Other terms sometimes used to describe such terminals are customer-bank communications terminal (CBCT) and remote service unit (RSU). PALMDALE - Three robbery suspects were arrested early Wednesday after people using ATM machines in Lancaster and Palmdale were held up at gunpoint, deputies said. It also packages bills for a network of San Francisco-based Union Bank's ATM machines. The ground floor of the bank's space at 450 Park will consist of several ATM machines, plus two glass elevators and a grand staircase going up to the banking hall on the second floor. |
