Automated System for Customs Data
Also called ASYCUDA. Software designed to administrate the customs process. It stores declarations, manifests, and other forms. It also assists workers in ensuring tariffs are paid and imports abide by law in the importing country. It was developed in Switzerland.

In preparation for the complete roll-out of the system to all customs offices, the new ASYCUDA World system was configured and launched in June 2009, representing the first e-government application in the OPT.

The additional financing will support further rollout of ASYCUDA Declaration Processing System (DPS) and completion of the ongoing construction of the remaining truck parking area at Jalalabad Inland Clearance Depot (ICD).
