American Association of Exporters and Importers

An organization that promotes the interests of companies that import into and export out of the United States. The AAEI lobbies before Congress, the U.S. Trade Representative, other government agencies and foreign powers. Members consist of manufacturers, distributors, and retailers, as well as banks, insurance companies, and others. It seeks the elimination of most trade barriers, promotes free trade, and monitors trade sanctions.
