Walt Disney An American entertainer and businessman. In 1923, he co-founded an animation studio with his brother, Roy. The company expanded to other media, including film, television and theme parks. Disney created Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck and other iconic fictional characters. The Walt Disney Company (as the studio was renamed) became a hugely successful corporation.
