10-year Treasury Note A debt obligation issued by the U.S. Treasury that has a term of more than one year, but not more than 10 years. Notes: Treasury notes bear a stated interest rate, and the owner receives semi-annual interest payments.
Treasury bills are short term obligations with a term of one year or less and Treasury bonds have a term of greater than 10 years. |
